Comment by Will Satur on November 18, 2011 at 11:25am Still sucks but I will keep an eye out as I tend to come across a few of these style of bikes. I really hope you get her back or at least get to punch the person who stole her in the face.
Comment by Emma-Lee Still on November 18, 2011 at 10:58am the thing was that this was a complete impulse purchase and she was very run down I bought her super cheap for $60 spent $100 on new tubes tyres, cables brakes fixed her up real good and bam STOLEN. i already own 3 other bikes, this one actually helped me win a brand new Giant bike. so I am more pissed that some one stole it probably with the intention of selling it to some hipster girl from Collingwood to make a few bucks.
Comment by Will Satur on November 18, 2011 at 10:55am That really sucks, I have built numerous pink cruisers and will deffinately keep an eye out for you. Worst comes to worst drop me a line, I might be able to help you get another cruiser, (Even though I know you are attached to this and I can understand that.) Might not be pink though as they are getting harder and harder to come by.
Comment by Emma-Lee Still on November 18, 2011 at 10:31am Thank you very much von strapp, i am very hopeful of finding her as sooo many people have a personal attachment to this bike because they helped name her. plus she is pink, pink is not an inconspiculous colour of bicycle. just keep an eye out for a pink bike and if you see one, give me a call or call the police. Lady penelope is written on the frame, and she is a salmon pink colour not hot pink with two bells and white tyres seat pedals and handles.
Comment by Van Strapp on November 18, 2011 at 10:22am That's horrible, sorry to hear that. I'll keep an eye out for it.
I like the Thunderbirds reference, naming it Lady Penelope. :) I hope you find her again!
